stylish advice of Gina La Morte, Celebrity Fashion Stylist, and founder
of TheStyleDoctor.com. From her regular appearances on morning talk
shows like CBS, FOX, and WB11, to expert advice for PEOPLE magazine as
their Celebrity Stylist, to her styling work for magazines, La Morte is
one of the country's most sought-after style gurus.
As an FIT graduate who also studied fashion internationally in London,
Paris and Milan, La Morte began her career working as a visual stylist
for the Gap in their NYC flagship store. She held a brief stint at The
Limited, and then moved on as a Stylist for Old Navy, styling their
first commercial. After that, La Morte began working as a Fashion
Stylist for luxury retailer, Nordstrom, styling windows, fashion shows
and press projects in conjunction with magazines like Vogue, In Style,
Seventeen, and Harper's Bazaar.
As a television and media style expert, La Morte's work has appeared
on ABC's The View, MTV, The WB, FOX, CBS, Channel 12, NY1, BET, Z100,
KRLA, KISS FM Los Angeles, KISS FM Boston, and more. She also co-hosts
fashion's first nationally syndicated talk radio show on WOR in New
York and KRLA in Los Angeles and ten other cities across the country.
La Morte shines as an expert hosting and styling live fashion events
for retailers and magazines such as People, Teen People, W, Seventeen,
Miss Teen USA, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom and more. La
Morte is also actively involved in styling and producing non-for-profit
events, some of which include the 92nd St. Y in NYC, The Philharmonic
of NJ's Venetian Ball at the Waldorf-Astoria, Jersey Battered Woman's
Services, The Lynne Cohen Ovarian Cancer Foundation and the Montclair
Art Museum.
Recently, with her passion for all things girl... La Morte was
